CHAOS

Terms of use

Revised:

1. Operator and scope

CHAOS — Cyber Hacking Adventure Of Senses — is an online shared-world game with player accounts, a map, tools and communication. It is operated by Michał Cezary Jankiewicz as a private individual, at ul. Relaksowa 5 lok. 1, 27-400 Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland. Service and account contact: year2108@chaos.re. The service is available at https://chaos.re, including as an installable web application (PWA). This document update does not impose new obligations retroactively.

2. Player age

This Terms update does not establish a new minimum age or require a new age declaration. It does not replace or extend terms previously accepted by the user. A transition to 16+ rules is planned as a separate change requiring approval, notice and safeguards. The age gate remains disabled. Signing in through an external provider does not verify age.

3. Access and account

The game requires an Internet connection and a supported browser. PWA installation is optional. Provide accurate information required for registration and retain control of your email and sign-in methods. Do not share passwords, codes or account access.

4. Project status and charges

CHAOS is an experimental, non-commercial project. These Terms establish no charges or payment obligations. Any paid offer requires separate, clear terms before it is selected. We do not promise unlimited availability or an error-free game during development.

5. One identity, linked methods

Linked sign-in methods open the same character. If you already have an account, link a provider in its settings. A new sign-in replaces the previous session. Security changes may require a password or email code. The last available sign-in method cannot be disconnected.

6. Conduct and safety

Hacking themes concern game mechanics only. Do not attack real systems or other users. Do not exploit bugs for unauthorised access, distribute malware, impersonate others or publish private information about others. Report bugs to year2108@chaos.re.

7. Content and shared world

CHAOS has a shared world with clans, conflicts, PvP, messaging and AI narrative. Only submit content you have rights to use. You retain your rights; sharing permits storage, display to intended recipients and use necessary for the selected feature and shared world. This is not permission for arbitrary use outside the service. AI flows are described in the Privacy policy. Narrative may be incorrect and is not a reliable assessment of real people or professional advice. Unlawful content, threats and harassment are prohibited. World history and message copies may remain after account deletion, subject to data rights. Communication protection is not intended to grant PvP immunity.

8. Infrastructure and data protection

The service uses cyber_Folks VPS hosting in Poland and cyber_Folks DNS and email services. The operator confirms 28-day backup retention and monthly log clearing. The Privacy policy describes data processing and erasure in detail.

9. Availability and ending use

CHAOS is under development; updates and maintenance may cause interruptions. You may stop using the service and use account deletion in settings after verifying your identity. Deletion is irreversible. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be restricted.

10. Contact, reports and appeals

Account issues, content reports and objections to operator decisions can be sent to year2108@chaos.re. Include your nickname, a description, the date and, if available, the message or publication identifier. Do not send passwords or codes. An appeal should identify the decision and explain why it should be reconsidered. In-game reporting tools depend on enabled features. Game email is not an emergency channel or a promise of round-the-clock support; contact the appropriate emergency services for immediate danger.

11. Changes to the rules

Changes to the rules require their scope and effective date to be stated and players to be informed. Editing the document does not impose new obligations retroactively. The prepared communication-protection module remains inactive; future activation will be described separately.
